I started Winston’s Wicks the same way many good things begin—by solving a problem at home. After developing scent sensitivity, I went looking for candles and bath goodies made with simple, gentle ingredients I could pronounce and trust. When I couldn’t find them, I made them—first for myself, then for family and friends.

From day one, the promise has stayed the same:

  • 100% soy wax + cotton wicks for a clean, steady burn
  • Pet-considerate (we’ve always had furry family; cotton wicks and 100% soy were non-negotiable)
  • Small-batch, hand-poured in Toronto with reusable or recyclable vessels
  • Fragrance standards: free from Paraben, Phthalate, Lyral, and Lilial
  • Never tested on animals—only on willing friends, kind clients, and family

Winston—the dog behind the name—keeps a close eye on “quality control” and takes his sniffing duties very seriously. Since 2022, it’s been our joy to craft candles, bath products, steamers, room sprays, and the occasional limited-run handmade goodie—always with comfort, clarity, and care in mind.
